Soft17 (soft17.app) is a web application for learning blackjack basic strategy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
Account data: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. Practice data: your drill results, sessions, learning progress, settings and gamification state, so the app can track your improvement. Billing data: if you subscribe to Pro, our payment provider Stripe processes your payment details — card numbers never reach our servers; we only store your subscription status. Usage data: product analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the app.
How we use your data
We use your data to operate the service, save your progress across devices, process your subscription, and understand how the app is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of processors to run Soft17: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), PostHog (product analytics), Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics identifiers to understand product usage. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us; we will remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
