Lesson 5 · Card Counting
The count only makes money when your bets follow it. With a 1–8 unit spread: TC ≤ 1 → 1 unit, TC 2 → 2 units, TC 3 → 4 units, TC 4 and up → 8 units.
Flat-bet the minimum while the shoe is neutral or negative, press when the true count climbs. The spread is where the edge becomes money.
